Denmark-based firearm accessories manufacturer Maklarbak has unveiled their Time-to-Change Magazine (TTC-MAG), new for 2014. The TTC-MAG is a tough, durable, 31-round, 5.56×45 polymer magazine designed for AR-15 type rifles. It features constant curve geometry, stainless steel springs, and Maklarbak’s anti-tilt, patent-pending T Follower technology.
This innovative product has a bolt stop engager which trips the bolt stop on the second-to-last round. A bolt stop does not mean that the gun is empty. By pushing the bolt release before changing the magazine, the soldier will have one shot chambered while changing mags. This is perfect for a number of different tactical applications. The user is never left vulnerable during a magazine change. In addition, Maklarbak recommends that the user should load a tracer for optimized preparation and efficiency. The Time-to-Change Magazine features an orange “caution” indicator, a patent-pending bolt stop engager, a reinforced T-Follower, and the caliber listed on the side. The TTC-MAG lends itself to speed and efficiency with its three-step reloading process. The Maklarbak Time-to-Change Magazine is available in two colors: Black and Flat Dark Earth. Maklarbak Time to Change Magazine Reload Procedure:
1.) Release/drop the bolt on the last round in your TTC-MAG (Weapon NOT Empty)
2.) Eject the now empty TTC-MAG (Weapon NOT Empty)
3.) Insert a fresh TTC-MAG and carry on (Weapon NOT Empty)
