Tamiami International Equipment has announced the release of their Tactical Level IIIA Body Armor Vest, brand new for 2014. In addition to providing full front, side and back protection, this vest also offers neck protection. It is perfect for wearing with tactical helmets. It also contains front and back hard armor plate pockets, which allows for optimal mobility while ensuring that the end-user enjoys maximum protection. Simply put, this is an effective tactical vest.
In addition to Level IIIA ballistic coverage — which protects the user from high-velocity bullets like the .44 magnum, .357 magnum and 9mm ammo — this tactical vest has shoulder and side adjustments for the perfect fit, a helmet friendly ballistic collar, and removable ballistic inserts. The ballistic panel cover is made from DuPont Nylon Supplex-3ply, and is breathable, water resistant, and fire retardant. The outer shell panel is made from 500 denier Cordura. Each vest includes a ballistic insert. The areal weight of each ballistic pack used in the vest for each solution is 1.6 lbs/sq. ft. It is enclosed in an ultrasonically sealed, water resistant 200d nylon ripstop pouch.
