Weaver Aims at MSRs with Its New Premium MSR Optics Mount

Vista Outdoor brand Weaver has launched its new Premium MSR, an optics mount designed specifically for, you guessed it, the MSR platform.

The Weaver Premium MSR mount features a 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum construction. Meanwhile, its anodized Type III hardcoat black matte finish adds further protection and blends in with the rifle. The design, the company says, sets optics at the ideal height, with a forward cantilever for MSRs. The edges are slightly radiused to prevent snagging.

Available in 1 inch, 30mm and 34mm variants, the durable Premium MSR mount also comes with double recoil lugs to lock it in place. Weighing just six ounces, the mount also offers Torx-head screws with three oversized #25 Torx crossbolts with steel-threaded inserts.
