Following on the success of the original Match Pro, Bushnell offers enhancements in the new ED 5-30×56 FFP riflescope. Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30×56 FFP Riflescope
Constructed of a single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum 34mm main tube, the Match Pro ED is built for hard use. Likewise, an IPX7 waterproof rating protects the riflescope, even when submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. As a result, the Match Pro ED can withstand whatever elements you may find yourself in.
Similarly, the ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) Prime 56mm objective lens with EXO barrier coating also helps protect against the elements. The glass also wrings out every bit of sharpness and contrast from your target without blurring or color fringing.
Listening to its fan base, Bushnell increased the magnification ratio to provide a more versatile range of 5x to 30x. Likewise, bumping out the main tube diameter to 34mm provides a 30 MIL (103 MOA) elevation range. A removable, 3-position power change lever can also be configured for left- or right-handed shooters.
Additionally, both turrets now lock, and the elevation turret has an Easy Set zero stop and 2-stage pop-up rev indicator. Correspondingly, the elevation turret ensures that the shooter knows what revolution they’re on, instilling repeatable confidence back to zero.
Improving on the original Match Pro, the ED has an updated illumination package with 11 brightness settings with alternating off intervals. A 6-hour auto-off timer also helps to increase battery life over the original.
The new DM2 reticle is based on the Deploy MIL and is updated to a .2 MIL-GRAD style reticle. First Focal Plane provides reticle holdovers that are always accurate regardless of magnification. However, the 15-yard parallax allows you to engage in even close-range targets.
