Stag Arms Launches PXC-9 Series Pistol Caliber Carbine

Stag Arms recently announced its newest firearms, the PXC-9 Series. The pistol caliber carbine PXC-9 comes in four different variants, with a 5.5, 10 or 16-inch barrel. Each model delivers a last round bolt hold open feature and works with Glock pattern magazines.

Stag Arms PXC-9 Series Features

The PXC comes in 9x19mm for now, with additional calibers, including .40 S&W, 10mm and .45 ACP, expected to release this summer. Four different models mark the initial release: 16-inch carbine, 10-inch pistol, 10-inch SBR and 5.5-inch pistol. Stag builds each model on 7075 aluminum receivers with Nitride coated 4150 CMV barrels and a completely redesigned bolt.

The Stag PXC-9 Series utilizes the popular Glock pattern magazine, and the platform features a last round bolt hold open design, which will appeal greatly to some shooters.

The PXC bolt mates with the cone breech in the barrel to ensure strength, safety, smooth feeding and reliability, according to Stag Arms. The bolt’s weight is optimized to provide the best possible performance. The bolt also works in conjunction with the extractor, ejector and the optimized PXC ejection port and brass deflector in the upper receiver. The combination delivers strong, reliable case ejection, according to Stag Arms.
