A father and his two boys, ages 11 and 13 were fishing, when the boys became stranded when the tide went out. The father contacted the Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City, who sent a helicopter crew to rescue his two children who became stranded in the marsh near New Jersey’s Oyster Creek.
The agency says an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew arrived 40 minutes later, hoisted the boys from the marsh and took them to the air station. The boys were in good condition.
