The Aimpoint FCS13RE includes a range finder and ballistic computer to give better dope for first round hits.

Aimpoint just scored a big contract with the U.S. military. The company announced an award that will send the Aimpoint FCS13RE Fire Control Systems to Army, Marine Corps and U.S. Special Operations Command. The system will deploy on the M3E1 MAAWS lightweight 84mm Carl-Gustaf.

Aimpoint FCS13RE Fire Control System

The FCS13RE comprises a direct view, Dynamic Universal Reflex Sight (DURS). It utilizes an integrated laser range finder and ballistic computer. Together, they give the gunner an aiming point corrected for range, type of ammo, terrain angle and environmental conditions.

The fire control system also works on other weapons, including the AT4, Mk19 40mm high velocity grenade launchers, M2 .50 caliber heavy machine gun and M134D Minigun. The FCS13RE provides an extremely high probability of first-round hits on both stationary and moving targets, day or night.

The system accepts a magnifier or thermal imager. It also accepts all generations of military night vision. For more information on the FCS13RE, please visit
