PHOENIX– A new law takes effect Wednesday that allows the 138,350 people with concealed-weapons permits in Arizona to bring their guns into bars and restaurants that haven’t posted signs banning them. While those who choose to carry in bars will not be allowed to consume alcohol, the new law- backed by the NRA- mimics similar laws already enacted in 41 states throughout the nation.
