During last week’s International Sniper Competition awards banquet and ceremony, the Army Sniper Association announced its recently formed business partnership with sponsor Ashbury Precision Ordnance Manufacturing of Ruckersville, VA. Ashbury, a long time sustaining sponsor of the association, its annual International Sniper Competition and highly regarded charitable activities in support of the military sniper community, developed a series of customized and specially engraved SABER® -FORSST® modular rifle chassis products to be sold exclusively thru the Army Sniper Association.

“The Army Sniper Association’s partnership with Ashbury will help us grow the sniper association, contribute to the Silent Warrior Memorial construction and commit additional funding to the SSG. Eric Caban Fallen Sniper Fund throughout the year. Until now, our major annual fund raising event has been held during the International Sniper Competition” said Bob Mahar President of the Army Sniper Association. “As mainly a volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are now trying to find additional ways to assist and support the Army sniper community and snipers throughout the US Armed Forces and law enforcement communities.

The customized SABER® modular rifle chassis designed for the sniper association (SST-AL) is based on APO’s very popular MOD-0 chassis platform with the addition of new features, to include; Ergonomically Adjustable Hand Tool Adjustable (HTA) Folding Shoulder Stock • Premium Limbsaver® Recoil Pad • ERGO® Tactical Hand Grip • Adjustable Grip to Trigger Distance • MOD-1 or MOD-0 • Ambidextrous Magazine Release • Detachable Box Magazine • SuperSport Tactical™ Alloy Forend • Bipod Stud • Two 12” Picatinny Side Accessory Rails • Eight Sling Swivel Attachment Points.

“We have configured the Amy Sniper Associations modular rifle chassis around the two most popular rifles around”, says Morris Peterson president of Ashbury International Group Inc., “the Remington short action and long action, for either right-hand or left-hand bolt action receivers. Now shooters can make their existing or new Remington bolt action rifles functionally modular and more comfortable to shoot accurately.” And for those shooters with an M24 styled rifle based on a Remington M700 long action, but chambered for the short .308 Winchester, we have just introduced the new RLA-A3 that uses a 5 or 10rd detachable magazine. Sportsmen, hunters, practical rifle competitors and target shooters now have a broader range of options to enhance the performance of their favorite bolt action rifle. A wide range of SABER modular rifle chassis accessories and long range shooting equipment are available from Ashbury Precision Ordnance.
