WASHINGTON (AP) — Alliant Techsystems Inc. has won a $43.8 million Army contract boost to supply ammunition to the Army, the Defense Department said late Tuesday. The company will produce approximately 7,560 armor-piercing, fin-stabilized, and discarding sabot tracer cartridges. Shares of Alliant Techsystems, based in Edina, Minn., rose $1.27 to $107.28 Tuesday.
