Retired Marine, now gun rights activist Adam Kokesh had his home searched Tuesday night by police in Northern Virginia.
Kokesh drew national media attention after posting a Fourth of July video on YouTube, in which he is seen loading a shotgun in Freedom Plaza in Washington.
Authorities blocked off roads near Kokesh’s Herndon home and advised residents to stay indoors while a search warrant was being served.
