Motorcyclists passed through Augusta, Maine on their national ride to raise money for the families of fallen police officers.
Local Augusta law enforcement came out to support the bikers who are part of a group called Ride4Cops.
Ride4Cops will donate 100 percent of the funds raised to Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc., which supports families and coworkers of fallen officers. Since it’s founding in 1984, Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. has helped more than 15,000 people.
Debra Noyes of New Hampshire, who lost her husband in October 1994 during a standoff, was left behind with three children. “This organization has been very important to me and my children,” she said. “They came right to my door and took care of us from day one.”
