The concept of a truly bulletproof Dodge Charger Hellcat seems like a dream for law enforcement. However, thanks to international armoring corporation Armormax, the concept is now a reality.

Armormax recently unveiled its fully armored Dodge Hellcat with its “high-powered rifle and bomb protection packages”

Here is a better look at what agencies get with the car.

Armormax Dodge Charger Hellcat Details

For starters, the bulletproof Dodge Charger Hellcat has a 6.2-liter V8 engine; that translated to more than 700 horsepower.

Speed is nice, but police departments and other agencies typically need more “bells and whistles” out in the field. Armormax didn’t neglect those features.

“Assembled with all the police patrol car gear like lights, ballistic armored glass, bulletproof paneling, a push bar, run-flat tires, carbon fiber decals, etc., this Dodge Hellcat with Armormax is ready to hit the mean streets of your imagination.”

Serious Ballistic Protection

“Not only does this have dozens of lights installed, but is also armored to withstand any type of attack you might face,” Armormax said in a release.

Just what kind of “attacks” are we talking about here? The term “bulletproof” takes on a lot of different meanings. What does it mean in this instance?

There are four levels of car armor, ranging from B4 to B7.  According to Armormax, its armored Hellcat offers a B7 level of car armor; that translates to protection from armor-piercing rifles. Yes, you’ve read that correctly.

It appears Armormax has a true bulletproof police car on its hands.

Armormax hasn’t released an MSRP, however, quotes are available for interested departments and agencies at Armormax.com.
