A beloved cop has been honored at an annual charity hockey game in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Edward A. Wehe III was police officer in Delaware County Park and Marcus Hook, as well as a decorated Navy veteran. He died on Nov. 5 while on duty.

Wehe, who was nicknamed “Top Cop” by local residents, was honored during the 4th annual Delaware County Fallen Heroes Cup at Ice Works in Aston last Saturday. His family was in attendance during the ceremonial faceoff.

The charity hockey tournament is a benefit for the Delaware County Law Enforcement Memorial and Delaware County Fallen Firefighters and EMS Committees. The game pits police against firefighters.
