A local police officer had a close call after a homemade bomb was found hidden under his car.
The Northfield Police Department in Summit County is located near dozens of homes and sits right across the street from a daycare.
Recently, a Northfield police officer was leaving work when he discovered a small explosive device tucked under the wheel well of his personal car.
“I saw the bomb squad over there, all the ATF cars. I couldn’t understand what was going on,” said neighbor Tony Pietrochini.
