David's Sling Interceptor Missile Test a Success in Israel

A new Israeli interceptor missile developed to counter threats from Syria and Lebanon’s Hezbollah guerrillas passed its second live trial on Wednesday.

David’s Sling, which could be ready for deployment next year after being rushed through production, is capable of shooting down missiles with ranges of between 100 km and 200 km (63 miles and 125 miles).
