MONTGOMERY, Ala.– Although police have no reason to believe emails about potential crimes are true, the online rumors continue to make the rounds within a community and like tips called in to CrimeStoppers, law enforcement agencies must investigate them, said Montgomery County Sheriff D.T. Marshall.  Officers say that the time spent investigating these rumors are worth it because regardless of the amount of false claims made, it only takes one true tip to validate the necessity of investigating all emails.  For more details, click here and return back to comment.
