Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco Shutdown

Nearly 70,000 law enforcement officers from across the country take courses annually at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center at Glynco—a Department of Homeland Security facility so massive that it has its own ZIP code.
Currently, about 45 of more than 1,000 employees were at work, with the rest officially furloughed.
