USA Shooting announced that four Soldiers from the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit will compete on the U.S. team at the 2010 Championship of the Americas Games Nov. 19-26 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Representing the country, Army and USAMU will be Sgt. Joe Hein, Sgt. George Norton, Cpl. Brad Balsley, and Spc. Matthew Rawlings. Hein, Norton and Rawlings will compete in rifle while Balsley will be competing in pistol.

Country Olympic quota slots are on the line at the 2010 games. Team USA has already solidified five spots in the 2012 Olympics with two being earned by USAMU Soldiers Staff Sgt. Josh Richmond in Double Trap and Sgt. Vincent Hancock in Men’s Skeet.
