ATLANTA – Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue said guns should be allowed in public areas of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), the nation’s busiest airport.

Since the Supreme Court decision that the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to own firearms, Georgia lawmakers have been presented with new legislations to allow Georgians who pass criminal background checks to carry concealed weapons in the airport.
