III Marine Expeditionary Force just released some incredible photos of U.S. Marines training in cold weather conditions during the recent Exercise Forest Light in Sekiyama, Japan.

The photos are more than enough to remind you why our Marines are some of the toughest people on the planet.

Forest Light is one of various bi-lateral training opportunities conducted by Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force and deployed U.S. Marine forces to demonstrate the enduring commitment by both countries to peace, stability and prosperity across the region.
