Georgia law enforcement officials are coming together with senior citizens to help fight crime in their area.

Seniors and Lawmen Together, also known as S.A.L.T., consists of volunteers who organize programs geared towards protecting and educating seniors to fight against victimization.

S.A.L.T. was founded in 2005 as a partnership between the Cumming Police Department, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Forsyth County Senior Services and local senior residents.
