Rheinmetall’s 35mm MANTIS air defense system was formally transferred to the German air force this week.

MANTIS is the acronym for the Modular, Automatic and Network-capable Targeting and Interception System for asset protection against low-flying aerial threats as well as incoming rockets, artillery and mortar rounds.

“Moreover, its open architecture design makes it a future-proof investment.”
