WASHINGTON – For the first time a federal Judge has ordered the release of Guantanamo Bay detainees into the U.S. The U.S District Judge said it would be wrong to hold the detained small group of Chinese Muslims, since they are no longer considered enemy combatants. They have been in custody for seven years and cleared for release since 2004. The chinese government has demanded custody but the Bush administration fears they would be tortured if turned over.
