The debate of gun control is fueling sales nationwide. The FBI reports a 5% increase in gun sales nationwide since the recent shooting in Tucson, Arizona. But here in Nevada gun shop owners report steady, but not unusual, sales of handguns and what are called high capacity magazines.

“We did see a small bump in sales of both hand guns and in the high capacity magazines for about a week,” reports John Miller with the U.S. Firearms Academy on East Moana Lane. “But really it’s just been steady business since before Christmas.”
