WASHINGTON – U.S. Homeland Security has set up its own counterspy unit that will require strict reports from employees about all foreign travel, according to a document obtained by the Associated Press. Concerns about foreign spies and terrorists have caused the government to increase its counterspy efforts across all agencies, and this new directive will help Homeland Security by finding intelligence vulnerabilities.
