In a case of “what were they thinking?” cinema owners in Missouri have formally apologized for the actions of an overzealous theater manager who sent staff members into the audience in full tactical gear during a screening of Iron Man 3.
In light of recent active shooter events—specifically the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting that killed 12 and injured 58, theater-goers and local authorities were not amused.
