Japan’s Defense Ministry has drafted plans to shoot down foreign drones that compromise their nation’s airspace if warnings to leave are ignored.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe approved the Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera.
The ministry drafted the plan in response to a Chinese military drone that violated Japan’s air defense zone on Sept. 9.
The move, approved by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, is aimed at demonstrating Japan’s readiness to respond to any acts that violate its sovereignty.
