SAN DIEGO– Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor threw himself on a grenade to save his comrades and will forever be remembered as a hero who saved the lives of others in Iraq when he receieves the Medal of Honor posthumously April 8 at the White House.  Monsoor is the fifth person to receive the honor since the beginning of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.  To read more on Monsoor’s heroism, click here and return back to comment.
