Military personnel, reservists and veterans all volunteered for Operation Homefront on Sunday, providing drinks, snacks and vouchers for holiday meals.

Active duty military personnel, reservists and veterans all served as volunteers for Operation Homefront on Sunday, providing cups, plates, napkins, baking dishes, cranberry sauce, biscuit mix, canned and dried vegetables, fruit juices, seasoning, pancake mix, condensed milk and decorations in addition to vouchers and gift cards to around 150 families as they prepare the holidays.

Children who attended with their parents also got candy canes and stuffed toys from Santa Claus, and everybody received drinks and snacks as the event took place in Peckham community vocational rehabilitation facility on north MLK Boulevard in Lansing, Mich.

Operation Homefront is a nonprofit organization developed to support the families of deployed service members immediately following 9/11. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Operation Homefront provides services to military families at 23 locations serving 43 states.
