KABUL, Afghanistan — Escalating insurgent violence along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border led to two separate shelling retaliations by NATO forces on Sunday.  Pakistan militants launched rocket and artillery attacks into two Pakistani provinces, killing four Afghan civilians, at least two of which were children.  NATO retaliated to silence the border violence that was weakening the alliance’s restraint in the area.  For more details on this, click here and return back to comment.
