
Utica Police and the Oneida County Sheriff’s Recruits gathered on Wednesday at the Deerfield Fire Department in New York to take an outdoor class about the intricacies and potential problems of the latest new speed-tracking radar equipment.
The class also taught speed estimation skills, because it is believed that a human element is an important complement to the radar when issuing a ticket.
