NJ Veterans Express Anguish Through Art

In New Jersey, a group of Veterans express anguish through art in an exhibit entitled “Paint Your Pain.”

Veterans read their poetry beneath the rotunda in the Brennan Courthouse in Jersey City.

“It is cathartic,” said Jan Barry, who organized the reading with Walt Nygard. “People in the military have a harder time speaking than going into battle. These presentations are an important part of facing people’s fears about speaking to the public.”
