A family-friendly gun range is opening in Lewisville.
Eagle Gun Range owner David Prince said there are not enough places for children to learn how to shoot.
“We saw a void, and we saw a niche and decided to fill it,” he said.
Prince said his gun range is getting plenty of attention, partly stirred his business’ kid-friendly attitude. People have approached him in person, by phone and online about the gun range, and his business has also attracted media attention.
“We want to bring children in starting at age 8 and teach them how to effectively and safely use a firearm,” he said. “We will start them off with BB guns and .22s.”
