NEW YORK – Three NYPD plainclothes detectives were acquitted of all charges Friday in the 50-shot killing of an unarmed groom-to-be on his wedding day. The case once again put the New York Police Department at the center of disputes involving allegations of excessive firepower.  The officers were acquitted of manslaughter, assault and reckless endangerment that left Sean Bell dead the night of his bachelor party.  For more details click here and return back to comment.
