The online weapons dealer that sold the handgun used in the Virginia Tech tragedy is shutting down.
The Wisconsin man running this company is actually linked to three mass shootings that have all drawn national attention in recent years. This is the same company that sold the gun used in the campus shooting that killed five people at Northern Illinois University in 2008. Another customer killed three women at a Pittsburgh health club in 2009.
TGSCOM Incorporated sold Sung Wee Cho a .22 caliber handgun that he used to kill 32 people at Virginia Tech back in 2007. Eric Thompson runs the company. Now he’s looking for investors to keep his business going. He maintains he’s not responsible how people use the guns he sold, saying the gunmen could have just as easily bought their weapons at Walmart.
