Capture of Osama bin Laden could had occurred within two years of al-Qaeda’s September 11 attacks.
The Pakistani government’s ‘negligence and incompetence’ meant there were several missed opportunities to capture the terror group’s leader.
The report, published on the al-Jazeera website, also says Bin Laden routinely wore a cowboy hat to prevent being spotted from the air.
He apparently lived in six places in Pakistan over the course of nine years and was in a car pulled over for speeding in 2002 or 2003. However, insufficient checks by a policeman meant the terror leader escaped undetected.
