KHAR, Pakistan – Pakistani Security forces killed more than 60 insurgents in northwest Pakistan in efforts aimed at denying Taliban militants safe havens in the country’s tribal regions.  Backed by helicopter gunships and artillery, the attacks come after U.S. applied intense pressure on Pakistan to crack down on militants who cross the border from Afghanistan to hide out and regroup planning and training efforts.
