ISLAMABAD, Pakistan– The once tranquil capital of Pakistan has been declared unsafe for children of the U.N. international staff, putting the city of Islamabad on a par with Kabul and Somalia in regards to terrorist violence and suicide bombings. The U.N. claims the increase in suicide bombings is a result of Pakistan’s faltering efforts of combating the militant groups responsible for terrorism in Afghanistan.
