Pennsylvania Game Commission Selects Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun

“The Pennsylvania Game Commission is excited to make this transition from our legacy pump shotgun and we feel honored to have the opportunity to work with a company like Beretta, who is known for quality, craftsmanship and customer service,” said Warden Travis Pugh, Enforcement Division Chief of the PA Game Commission.

“The transition to the 1301 Tactical has been greatly appreciated by the entire department,” said Stefano Itri, Vice President of BDT Sales, “The lighter weight, softer recoil, reduced muzzle rise, enhanced accuracy and faster follow-up shots require less training to master when compared to the pump action.”

Beretta designed the 1301 Tactical to meet the needs of the modern law enforcement officer. It features an 18.5-inch barrel. The shotgun measures only 37 1/4 inches overall. The lightweight design proves fast handling and controllable.

The 1301 Tactical delivers a capacity of 7+1. It comes with an oversized charging handle, large, textured bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety button. The integrated BLINK gas operating system enables the 1301 to cycle 36-percent faster than any other, according to Beretta.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission selected shotguns with Mesa Tactical Urbino stock with an adjustable cheek piece. The model features a LimbSaver recoil pad and SureShell six-round carrier. And integrated receiver-length Picatinny rail provides mounting space. A Nordic Components MXT magazine tube extension delivers more capacity, along with an expert gear upgrade born from competition shooting. Multiple swivel attachment pints and a forward Picatinny rail round out the package.

The Pennsylvania 1301 Tactical also comes in flat dark earth. For even more info, please visit beretta.com.
