WASHINGTON – The Pentagon today announced that it will not repeal the “don’t ask-don’t tell policy” regarding active duty homosexual troops.  While top military leaders have conducted discussions and overviews with the White House about whether or not the Military should allow troops to be open about their sexuality while serving, the White House has not asked for the policy to be scrapped.  Under current rules, openly gay troops are still subject to being discharged from the military.
