After a week of intense training, the obstacle course was the last thing standing between Demarest and the others seeking a coveted position on the team.
“I’m not gonna lie. I’ve always liked going up against the guys. Even when I played sports, I always wanted to play against the guys,” she said.
Friday, she had to be as good as the guys, and it was tough. The obstacle course looked like something out of boot camp at Parris Island, with rope walls and hurdles, barriers that would challenge even the most physically fit.
