President George W. Bush signed secret orders Tuesday to accelerate the approvals process for exports of military equipment to U.S. allies without undermining national security. In support of the National Security Strategy of 2006, which was devised to help the United States wage its war on terror, the orders will help ensure that the U.S. maintains its economic and innovative edge in military exports, officials said.  For more on this article, click here and return back to comment.
