“It’s indicative of the US economy,” said Brian Ehler. So why are so many people buying guns?
Some have said a fear of gun control has lead to stockpiling. But local members of the International Defensive Pistol Association nix that as the main factor. Still though, it’s not uncommon.
“There are some people who buy guns politically motivated or buy guns out of fear,” said Ehler.
