
From Lebanon, a group of smugglers tried to infiltrate the border, where the Syrian army captured and seized a large arms cargo in Reef (countryside of) al-Qusseir, along the borders of the crisis-hit country with Lebanon. No information released on the amount of arms.
Following Qusseir victory which freed the strategic town from a long occupation of terrorists and anti-Syria militants, the army has been keeping a strong presence to block one of the main supply routes used by militants to smuggle arms and forces.
