BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — The U.S. soldier who fired on fellow troops at a stress clinic at Camp Liberty in Iraq has been charged with five counts of murder, a military spokesman said Tuesday. John Russell is currently on his third tour in Iraq and is with the 54th Engineering Battallion, based in Germany. He is currently being held in military police custody at Camp Victory.
