NEW YORK – Cash-strapped states are releasing inmates early as it becomes far more expensive to keep some felons locked up than it would be to set them free.  Some advocates feel that these felons, particularly convicted of minor drug offenses, would be better off serving time in a treatment facility or on parole.  For more details on this, click here and return back to comment.
