One day after capturing the town of Qusair on the Lebanese border, Syrian forces have taken aim at Qunetira, near the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights. Austrian peacekeeping troops under the UN banner have since withdrawn fro the area, as it floods with Syrian refugees and rebel fleeing the fighting.

The proximity of fighting to what is technically Israeli territory has tensions in the region extraordinarily high.
