Although some Los Angeles city leaders disapprove of the sale of Kimber’s new highly-specialized SIS pistol to the public, the LAPD believe that the pistol enhances the image of the Special Investigation Section because “(i)t says that people are impressed with the training and equipment of the section,” said Capt.
