In what can only be described as a wanton act of violence, two men attacked an off-duty British solider with knives and a cleaver as he walked down the street in broad daylight in Woolwich, England. The as-of-yet unnamed soldier, who died of his injuries, was a member of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, which is currently based overseas.
The two assailants, both shot by British security services, were videotaped with bloodstained hands while spouting anti-Western jihadist commentary while the soldier’s lifeless body lay in the background.
